Hello, Dear Inter-American family.
I invite you to open your Bible with me today to 1 Corinthians 1:10. It reads:
“I appeal to you, brothers and sisters, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that all of you agree with one another in what you say and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly united in mind and thought.” (NIV)
The Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Inter-American Division is one large family spread across many countries. We speak different languages, but we share the same faith. We represent many cultures and generations, and each of us has different talents and ways of serving. Most importantly, we have been called by the same Lord and share the same mission.
When the apostle Paul invited believers to speak the same thing, he was not saying that everyone must be identical or agree on every detail. He was calling them to remain united in Christ, share the same purpose, and move in the same direction.
That is precisely what the OneVoice27 initiative is about. It is a call to prepare our hearts and receive the instruction that will help us strengthen our gifts and make better use of our resources so that, together, we can fulfill the mission God has entrusted to us.
I invite each of us to begin preparing now. May every member, church, institution, and ministry join through prayer, commitment, and a willing spirit. Let us work together with one mind, one purpose, and one spirit.
Are you ready?
May God bless His church throughout Inter-America.
