The Inter-American Division (IAD) of Seventh-day Adventists showcased its colorful landscapes, magnificent mountainous regions, stunning beaches, rich cultures, vast cities, charming people and growing effective ministries across the territory during the Adventist Virtual Global Campmeeting, May 19-23, 2021.

The five-day, first-of-its-kind online event focused on mission and spiritual enrichment and featured hundreds of presentations, seminars, and workshops under the world church’s on-going I Will Go strategic initiatives which seek to reach others with the gospel.

“Participating in the virtual camp meeting was an opportunity to show the fervor, commitment and faithfulness of the church members in Inter-America, and to praise God for how He has blessed His church in recent years,” said Pastor Elie Henry, president of the church in Inter-America.  “Coming together as a world family during this special campmeeting, using innovative technologies, only enriches us all in unity in Jesus.”

A special one-hour vespers program highlighted the dedication and commitment of active church members who united efforts in spreading the message of salvation in their communities throughout every corner in each country and island in the territory. Sprinkled with music, testimonials, prayer, community impact, and more, the vespers program pointed to the evangelism efforts growing the 3.7 million-member church in Inter-America.IAD leaders presented various seminars on discipleship, education, health ministries, media, missions and theology in English, Spanish and French.

In its large virtual exhibit booth the IAD featured all of the 24 unions throughout the territory, as well as six regional institutions showcased exhibits including IAD Publishing Association (IADPA), the Inter-American Adventist Theological Seminary (IATS), Montemorelos University, Antillean Adventist University, Colombia Adventist University and Northern Caribbean University.  Chat rooms were open and resources and giveaways were featured during each of the exhibits.
