With the presence of Doctor Jaime Castrejón, director of SETAI (Inter-American Adventist Theological Seminary) at the Inter-American Division a new phase was initiated at the Adventist Theological Seminary in Cuba when the first course of a Masters in Theology was inaugurated.

Until now this seemed like a dream for the Island of Cuba, but God has met the minimum conditions required for this very important activity that will help in the development of His church as the ministerial body becomes better prepared.

In a simple but touching ceremony where there were Union and Seminary leaders Pastor Castrejón spoke to the leaders and pastors present on the campus expressing gratitude towards God and a sense of satisfaction for this step in advancement, at the same time he requested the support and commitment of all so that this activity will have the success anticipated.

The Adventist Seminary in Cuba now maintains an ample educational program as it continues throughout the year to provide classes in the normal course of study and in the Summer different majors and now a Masters.  At the present time it has an enrollment of 105 regular students and 31 master students.
