Powerful generation of youth challenged to serve and inspire in their communities

Inspiring and challenging Adventist Youth with the message that they are a powerful generation in Jesus was at the heart of Inter-America’s Youth Congress last week, held in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Some 6,300 young people from across Mexico, Central America, the Caribbean, the French Antilles, Colombia and Venezuela entered the Ciudad San Cristobal Mega Auditorium for five-day days of seminars, presentations, and activities, to participate in the largest Inter-American Division (IAD) territory-wide youth congress.

Bible Boom final competition to take center stage during last day of youth congress

In just a few hours the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America will host its annual online territory-wide Bible Boom competition during the fifth and last day of the church’s youth congress, held in Guatemala City, Guatemala. The event is scheduled to begin Aug. 2, 2014, at 3:00pm Guatemala Time or (5:00pm Miami Time) and will be carried in Spanish, English, and French.

Guatemala: Government launches Adventist health initiative during youth congress

Thousands of Adventist young people demonstrated their dedication to living a healthy lifestyle as Guatemala’s Ministry of Health officials launched a health initiative from the National Palace of Culture Plaza, in Guatemala City earlier today. The event brought government leaders and health organizations together to promote the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s initiative called “I Want to Live Healthy.”

Inter-America prepares for largest youth congress in Guatemala

The Seventh-day Adventist Church will gather some 5,800 youth delegates from across the 37 countries and islands that comprise the Inter-American Division (IAD), for the largest ever territory-wide youth congress. The five-day conference will be held at the Mega Auditorium in San Cristobal, Guatemala City, Guatemala, from July 29 to August 3, 2014.
