Every year on the last Sabbath of May, the Seventh-day Adventist Church observes the World Day of Prayer for Children at Risk—a time to unite in prayer for millions of children facing abandonment, abuse, poverty, violence, and other forms of vulnerability.
On Sabbath, May 24, 2025, we invite every local church, family, and member across Inter-America to dedicate time for prayer and reflection, remembering that God deeply cares for the little ones and calls us to do the same.
How to get involved:
•Organize a special program in your church, with moments of focused prayer for children in vulnerable situations.
•Use available resources to raise awareness and inspire a spirit of compassion and commitment.
•Encourage your community to take action: support struggling families, create safe spaces, and offer spiritual care to those in need.
Jesus gave us the example: He placed a child in the midst and said that whoever receives a child in His name, receives Him (Matthew 18:5). Let’s follow His example—with compassion, prayer, and action.
