Violence does not always leave visible scars. Many people carry wounds caused by neglect, indifference, verbal abuse, or emotional mistreatment. In response to this reality, “Moved with Compassion” invites believers to recognize this hidden suffering and respond with the same love, mercy, and compassion that defined the ministry of Jesus.
The Seventh-day Adventist Church launched the global enditnow® initiative 16 years ago to raise awareness and mobilize churches and communities to prevent violence against women, children, and other vulnerable individuals.
Through this year’s campaign, the Inter-American Division seeks to remind members that compassion is not meant to be practiced only during a special event or season, but embraced as a daily way of life that reflects the character of Jesus and brings hope to those who need it most.
