Hello, Pathfinders of Inter-America! Happy World Pathfinder Day!
It is a joy to greet the thousands of children, teenagers, young people, leaders, and families who are part of this wonderful movement throughout our Division. On behalf of the Inter-American Division, I also want to thank every director, counselor, instructor, and parent, as well as everyone who dedicates their time and talents to shaping a new generation of disciples of Jesus.
“Speak, Lord” is a motto that expresses a simple yet powerful prayer. Many years ago, a young boy heard a voice calling him by name: “Samuel, Samuel.” Do you know whose voice it was? It was the voice of God.
And how wonderful it is to know that God knows your name, too. He has a purpose for your life, and amid so many voices, distractions, and noise, He still wants to speak to your heart.
That is why, on this World Pathfinder Day, my invitation to you is simple: stop, listen, and respond. Open your heart to Jesus and say, “Speak, Lord. I am ready to listen to You and follow You.”
May God bless every Pathfinder, every club, and every church throughout the Inter-American Division.
