The Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Inter-American Division (IAD) will officially launch its three new television channels with a special ceremony scheduled on Sep. 15, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. in Miami, Florida.

The one-hour ceremony will feature officials from the General Conference’s Hope Channel and top IAD leaders and board members who will witness the historic moment when Hope Channel Inter-America’s Hope Channel in English, Esperanza TV in Spanish, and Esperance TV in French will air via satellite, the web, and on Roku.

“This will be such a celebration for us as we are excited to be part of witnessing this dream come true,” says Abel Márquez, communication director for the church in Inter-America overseeing Hope Channel Inter-America. “The opportunity to reach the homes of some 280 million within our territory with the new channels seemed impossible before, but God has guided His church in Inter-America to fulfill the great commission.”

The English channel will be running the same programming as Adventist Television’s Hope Channel on a short time basis until more original programs from the IAD territory are produced, says Márquez.Esperanza TV Interamérica will reflect selected programming from the Inter-American Division, and other Divisions of the world church. Esperance TV will be available on Roku, on the web, and mobile apps with programming produced by the French Antilles Guiana Union, headquartered in Martinique.

Hope Channel Inter-America will join the more than 40 channels wordwide under Hope Channel’s Adventist Television Network.

“We praise God and look forward to using this television medium to reach millions of people who have yet to hear the hope of salvation in Jesus,” Márquez says.
