The Inter-American Division Headquarters concluded its annual week of prayer for its staff members during a special Sabbath service and lunch, April 24.
This year’s guest speaker was Dr. Agniel Samson, a professor at Oakwood College in Alabama in the United States. Dr. Samson spoke every morning for worship in the IAD auditorium, on how we as Christians need to trust and seek God in every situation that we face–even when Jesus seems absent from our lives.
Under the theme “You Shall see the Glory of God,” Dr. Samson went over the miracles that Jesus performed and lessons that we can draw from “Every time Jesus faced a problem he solved it and so he can do the same for you,” he said.
IAD employees were able to participate in musical presentations during the week.
Dr. Elie Henry, Human Resources director, the annual week of prayer in April is a time for all traveling and non-traveling IAD staff to come together for a time of fellowship and spiritual refreshment.
