Limon, Costa Rica…[Marlon Moodie/IAD Staff]

The new offices of the Adventist Mission in Limon were inaugurated on May 22. The inaugural ceremony took place at the two-story office next to the Central Adventist English Church. Special guests included Pastor Israel Leito, president of the church in Inter America, and his wife Ludmila. Church leaders of the South Central American Union and local fields were also present for the event, as well as government dignitaries of Limon and church members.

The president of the new mission is Pastor Heraldo Douff. David Velzaquez is the secretary and treasurer.

The Caribbean Mision of Seventh-day Adventists is located in the province of Limon and was organized in 2003. There are more than 10,000 Seventh-day Adventists worshiping in 44 organized churches in the Mission.
