The leadership of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America recently gathered top administrators from its 24 major regions to review new technology to manage employee records, audit the membership and perform accounting tasks. The meeting gathered union secretaries and treasurers for a special advisory training in Miami, Florida, Mar. 8-10, 2018.
Administrators and theology professors across Seventh-day Adventist universities in Inter-America recently met to explore new methodologies for teaching theology. The three-day meeting, held at Montemorelos University in North Mexico, from Feb. 27 to Mar. 3, saw educators review the updated version of the Handbook of Seventh-day Adventist Ministerial and Theological Education, as well as examine the direction of ministerial plans in the Inter-American Division (IAD) in the coming years.

The annual special day coined as Global Youth Day, is sponsored by the General Conference’s youth ministries department and motivates young people to get out of their comfort zones to “Be the Sermon” as they show the love of Jesus in their communities.
Seventeen months after Hope Channel Inter-America was officially launched, Seventh-day Adventist leaders are aiming for greater collaboration among its regional church leadership and multiple media centers across the Inter-American Division (IAD) territory. The goal is to increase the visibility of the television channel to reach millions with the message of hope and salvation. Church administrators, channel coordinators, communication directors, media center staff and production teams were called upon to strengthen the image, vision and mission of the channel during a special online training held on Mar. 6, 2018, from the IAD Office in Miami, Florida.
A special two-hour Hope Channel Inter-America advisory meeting will take place on Tuesday, Mar. 6, from the Seventh-day Adventist Church’s Inter-American Division (IAD) headquarter office in Miami, Florida. The live online event will be addressed mainly to union, or regional, communication directors and channel coordinators, as well as personnel across the 18 media production centers throughout the IAD territory.
Sabbath School teachers who serve in more than 22,000 churches and congregations all across the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America were reaffirmed of their vital role in discipling students and members during an online event held on Feb. 24, 2018. The six-hour Sabbath School Online Congress event, which took place in Miami, Florida, celebrated the culmination of thousands of certification trainings, which began early in 2016, and highlighted the purpose of the school in the life of the church.

The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Inter-America continued on the heels of its recently launched Year of the Child and Adolescent with the unveiling of its new Vacation Bible School program last week. More than 160 children’s and adolescent ministries directors from across the Inter-American Division (IAD) territory gathered for a two-day workshop in Miami, Florida, on Jan. 31 to Feb. 1, to reaffirm their commitment to one of its strongest outreach programs of the year.
