Hello, Happy Sabbath.

I am glad to greet you on this special day, which has been designated as the Sabbath to recognize church elders and group leaders.

Personally and on behalf of the Inter-American Division, I want to express my deep gratitude and admiration to each of you who provide essential leadership for the growth and strengthening of our church. Your dedication, wisdom, and selfless service are a living testimony of your commitment to God and His church.

The Ministerial Association, through a special program, has taken advantage of this day to celebrate and recognize the invaluable service these leaders provide, and as church members we are invited to join. Above all let us pray for them, and commend them to the Lord, as stated in Acts 14:23: “Paul and Barnabas appointed elders for them in each church and, with prayer and fasting, committed them to the Lord, in whom they had put their trust.”

May the Holy Spirit continue to guide every elder and group leader in the church, filling them with wisdom to lead, teach, model, and exhort with love and compassion.

Maranatha!
