The Seventh-day Adventist Church in the Inter-American Division (IAD) will hold its third territory-wide celebration of “All the Family in Mission” evangelistic efforts during a live online program on Sep. 28, 2024, from St. Catherine, Jamaica.

The event will see hundreds of believers joining the church and will showcase ongoing comprehensive evangelism initiatives and activities launched locally and across several unions including in Mexico, Belize, Caribbean, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and more.

“All The Family in Mission” seeks to involve every member in the family of God to be engaged in participating in personal and public evangelism outreach mission initiatives and preaching the everlasting gospel in preparation of Jesus’s soon coming. The IAD held its first “All the Family in Mission” event in Honduras in April, and its second one in Guadeloupe last June.

The live celebration will culminate a series of ongoing evangelistic campaigns through Jamaica during the past three weeks, said Pastor Balvin Braham, vice president of the IAD overseeing evangelism.

“There’s been a lot of engaged church leaders and dedicated members leading evangelism campaigns in the 168 pastoral districts in Jamaica,” said Braham. “This has been a national campaign mobilizing so many of our brothers and sisters in the church in spreading the gospel.”

Church leaders are expecting to baptize more than 1,000 persons throughout Jamaica during the day.

Thank e initiative includes 12 guest evangelists from the regional conferences of the North American Division speaking in Jamaica as well as in Belize and Trinidad, said Braham. “Our folks in Belize have been busy under a pitched tent preaching the Word after holding 10 days of prayer and fasting for the Holy Spirit to move people to take part in special evangelistic meetings,” he added. “Trinidad is also seeing some evangelism impact.”

The live event will be held at Portmore Seventh-day Adventist Church in St. Catherine, in the central region of Jamaica, and will feature highlights from the “All the family in Mission” efforts in the North Mexican Union, Belize Union, Caribbean Union Cuban Union, Dominican Union, Puerto Rican Union, and Atlantic Caribbean Union.

Keynote Speakers will include General Conference Treasurer Paul Douglas, IAD President Pastor Elie Henry, and more.
