Days after the General Conference voted to re-elect Pastor Israel Leito as president of the church in Inter-America, Dr. Elie Henry was re-elected as executive secretary and Filiberto Verduzco was re-elected as treasurer of the Inter-American Division (IAD).

Dr. Elie Henry has served as executive secretary since 2010. Prior to that he served as one of three vice presidents in the IAD from 2000-2005. Henry holds a Ph.D in Theology and a master’s in Theology.

A native of Haiti, Dr. Henry’s career began as a district pastor in Haiti, then professor, conference secretary and president, as well as union president. He has also served as human resources director in the IAD headquarter office.

Henry and his wife, Ketlie, have three daughters.

Filiberto Verduzco has served as treasurer of the church in Inter-America since 2000. Verduzco holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Sonora’s Technological Institute.

Born in Mexico, Verduzco’s church service began as general manager of the Inter-American Health Food Company’s Colpac branch. His years of service also include vice president of finance and vice president of development of Montemorelos University in Mexico.

Verduzco is married to Alma and has two sons and five grandchildren.

Other IAD church leaders will be elected later this week.
