Seven local pastors from throughout the English- and French-speaking regions in Inter-America will have the opportunity to dialogue with Adventist World Church President Pastor Jan Paulsen during a live webcast event from Belize on Feb. 8, 2009.

The live unscripted and unedited program called Pastors In Conversation will allow “an open and frank exchange between the Adventist Leader and the church’s shepherds,” said Rajmund Dabrowski, communication director at the world church headquarters.

“Pastor Paulsen wishes to personally hear what they [pastors] have to say about the joys of pastoral ministry and the challenges they face,” said Dabrowski.

Local church leaders and members in Belize are excited to welcome and witness the first official visit by an Adventist World Church President.

“We are very happy to have Pastor Paulsen visit our Belize Union of Churches and affirm the membership there and to speak directly with some of our pastors from our English and French speaking unions on the needs and challenges they face as they minister to the flock,” said Pastor Israel Leito, president of the church in Inter-America.

The sixth such dialogue program organized by the church headquarters since 2007 will also be taped and aired on the Hope Channel at a later date.
