The program included a devotional, special music, a special tribute to all assistants and more.

A short seminar on stress management was presented by Dr. Judith Rey McCalla, a research assistant professor in the Department of Psychology at he University of Miami.

Dr. McCalla emphasized on the need to prepare for and manage stress in the office in this fast pace demanding lifestyle.

“Make good choices, plan ahead, work hard and leave the rest to God,” McCalla said.

Earlier in the day, the IAD staff was surveyed to determine which of the administrative assistants demonstrated the most outstanding contributions to the church over the last year. When the results were in, three administrative assistants were honored. Those honored were: Jainie Baltodano for being most helpful; Dinorah Rivera for most resourceful; and Herlinda Rodriguez for upholding the strategic values of the church.
