In just a few hours, the Seventh-day Church in Inter-America will officially launch the second phase of its comprehensive spiritual revival and reformation initiative called “Heeding the Word” through a special live program from San Salvador, El Salvador.
Local church leaders and members have been preparing to host the Inter-American Division (IAD) event which will gather more than 11,000 at the International Convention Center tomorrow morning.
The program seeks to inspire ministers, laypeople, educators, young people, children, young people and children throughout the IAD to deepen their study of the Scriptures and the prophetic ministry of Ellen G. White-one of the church’s co-founders, says Pastor Roberto Herrera, coordinator for revival and reformation for the church in the IAD.
The event, which will be streamed live over the internet, will focus on the importance of living by the truths of the Bible, reaching out to a hurting world with the Bible and preparing for the Second Coming through the message of the Spirit of Prophecy books.
Music and drama performances will be featured during the two-and-a-half program.
Pastor Armando Miranda, general vice president of the Adventist World Church will deliver the spiritual message.
